These two paintings are part of the “Animals in the City- Paris Edition”. The idea is to put animals once native to the city and setting them back into the modernized community.
For example, an European brown hare reading a newspaper at a park bench close to the Eiffel Tower.

Foxes (Renard) are widespread in France, but only seen infrequently, being generally afraid of contact with humans. Foxes are extremely nimble, using their tails to aid with balance.
Hare in Paris

The European brown hares are found in much of France, although as with most wildlife they are more commonly seen at dusk and dawn. Here you will find our furry friend enjoying his newspaper on a park bench next to the Eiffel Tower.
