how to get into pots or other enclosed spaces
there’s no place i feel safer than small spaces. the outside world is so big and intimidating! my friends and i are so cute and squishy there’s no way knowing when the next danger could come next. a little kid could come by, pick you up, and squeeze you to bits. or a snake with a big mouth could come by looking for a seafood snack. as you can see, we have many natural predators.
we’re adaptable though, us squiggles. in my little space i’m safe. watering cans are a personal favourite, but garden pots, crevasses, tree trunks work just fine. (yes, we are sea creatures that live above water) here’s the a quick guide if you ever need a quick hideaway.
- scout out your local neighbourhood for the best spots. as was explained above, danger is everywhere! better be prepared than sorry!
- find your friends – safety in numbers!
- snuggle up close to #2
- catch the body heat from your friends
- smile your biggest smile (like me!) and sigh a breath of contentment knowing you’re safe and your friends are close
